Canada Geese

April 13, 2022

On this episode, Alex is discussing an animal that you’ve probably seen in almost every park you’ve stepped foot in. You may have even had some close encounters with them. This unique bird has a feisty side and can belong to gaggles of nearly one hundred individuals. So, buckle up, because this week, we’re taking flight to talk about Canada geese.

“[Canada Geese] secrete an oil that they rub on their feathers to make them waterproof. And the feathers are actually one of the most important adaptations for living on the water.”
