This week, Alex is going to take a look at a special group of birds that are found in Alaska and all the way down to South America. With a lightning fast metabolism, they have an insatiable appetite and can reach speeds of almost 50 miles an hour. So, keep your eyes in the sky and listen for a hum because this week we’re talking about hummingbirds.
“[Hummingbirds] can dive at speeds of up to 49 miles per hour.”
