Jaguars

February 2, 2022

In this episode, Alex talks about a majestic and elusive, yet dangerous animal. They’re carnivores that roam forests and grasslands, but unfortunately they’ve been declining in recent years. Even though they may scare you, they are extremely important to the ecosystems that they live in and they need our help. So, let’s take a hike together, as we explore the lives of one of the biggest cats in the world: jaguars.

“Jaguars can hit speeds of up to 50 miles per hour when they’re trying to catch a meal, but they can only stay at this speed for about a hundred feet before they get tired.“
